I’m Falling Behind on My Mortgage!

This is not an easy subject to talk about for anyone but it needs to be covered.  I see many ads on TV and online that say to call them if you’re having problems with your Houston Mortgage.  Most of these companies are for profit companies and I wouldn’t suggest them being your first call.

If you haven’t already contacted your Mortgage Company to see what solutions they offer, you should do that now!  With the government aid and incentives provided to the banking institutions that hold the vast majority of all the mortgages in the United States you may have several good options.

If you have already talked with the Lender and still having problems I would suggest you go to Keep My Texas Home.  It’s a free resource put together by the Texas Foreclosure Prevention Task Force.

Just remember that when we go through hard times it tests our resolves and makes us stronger.  You can come back from a difficult hardship and still prevail; you just have to keep moving forward.
